Incoterms于1953年修订之后，为各国商业界广泛采用，对于国际贸易的发展做出很大贡献。但自50年代末期以民鉴于西欧与东欧国家和前苏联以及东欧国家与前苏联之间盛行边境交货及进口国目的地交货的贸易实务，国际商会于1967年补充Delivered at Frontier…（named Place of delivery at frontier）即边境交货及Delivered Duty Pald…（named place of destination in the country of importation）即完税后交货两种贸易条件，以配合贸易需要。又鉴于货物利用航空运输的情况日益普遍，于1976年再增订了FOB AirPort…（named airPort departure）即机场交货，使适用范围再次扩大。随着集装箱运输方式的发展，多种运输方式的多式联运（multi-modal transport）也应运而生。门至门（door-to-door）的交货方式也已逐渐被世界各国广泛采用。于是，为配合这种国际贸易的需要，国际商会又于I98O年增订Free Carrier...(named point）即货交承运人及Freight or Carriage and Insurance paid to...(name point of destination) 即运费或运费保险费付至,两种贸易术语，并将Freight or Carriage paid to...(name point of destination)予以修订，使能扩大适用于连续作业的多式联运。故国际商会所解释的贸易术语，到70年代末，已有14种之多。该会于198O年3月，将此14种贸易条件汇成一小册，以Icc Pubication No.35O刊行，并定名为《Incoterms 1980》，副标题仍称为 International Rules for the Interpretation of Trade terms.
《Incoterms 1980》包括:
（l） Ex works（Ex Factory， Ex Mill， Ex Plantatlon，Ex warehouse，etc）工厂交货，即（制造厂交货、农场交货、仓库交货等）；
（2）FOR－FOT（Free on Rail named departure point）（free on Truck…named departure point）即铁路交货一指明起运地点、火车上交货一指明起运地点；
（3） FAS（Free Alongsideship named port of shipment），即船边交货一指定装运港。
（4） FOB（Free on Board named port of shipment），Ex plantation即船上交货一指定装运港
（5） C＆F（Cost And Freight named port of destination），即成本加运费一指定目的港；
（6） CIF（Cost，lnsurance，Freight...named Port of destination），即成本加保险费、运费一指定目的港；
（7） Ex ship，...named port of destination即目的港船上交货一指定目的港；
（8） Ex Quay Duty Paid...named port即目的港码头交货，关税已付一指定港口；
（9） Delivered At Frontier…（named place of delivery at frontier），即边境交货（边境指定交货地点）；
（10）Delivered Duty Paid…（named place of destination in the country of importation）即完税后交货（指定的进口国目的地）；
（11）FOB Airport（named airport of departure），即启运机场交货（指定启运机场）；
（12）Free carrier…（named point）．即货交承运人（指定地点）；
（13）Freight or Carriage Paid to…（named Point of destination），即运费付至一指定的目的地；
（14）Freight or Carriage and Insurance Paid to…（named point of destination），即运费、保险费付至用的地）；
