Movers and Shakers——有影响力的人

这个表达法颇有些道理。俗话说，静则止，动则变。英文中的“move”和“shake”两个动词表示各种“动”的含义，有了这般“鼓动者”和“震动者”，政府的决策也都会因为他们的影响力而有所倾斜。
　　
　　 这个表达法最初源自19世纪英国诗人Arthur O'Shaughnessy（阿瑟.奥肖内西）的诗歌"Ode" 《颂歌》。原文如下（节选）：
　　
　　 We are the music makers,
　　 And we are the dreamers of dreams,
　　 Wandering by lone sea-breakers,
　　 And sitting by desolate streams; --
　　 World-losers and world-forsakers,
　　 On whom the pale moon gleams:
　　 Yet we are the movers and shakers
　　 Of the world for ever, it seems.
